The B range of cabinets explore bold detailing and simple forms. To blacken the timber Michael uses a technique developed in Japan, called Shou Sugi Ban, which colouring, finishes and preserves cladding used on traditional Japanese wooden houses. The timber is burned/charred, then cooled and finally treated with oil. This finish accentuates the natural grain of the timber and is a natural process for colouring. Each piece is produced from FSC certified hardwoods and finished to the highest quality.
